FCAV is proud to sponsor 75 FCAV member carers to attend its two day conference on 27 & 28 October 2010 -  Be quick to register to secure complimentary registration at the conference. You can attend for one or both days. See below for rgistration details.

If you are a foster / kinship / permanent carer, or work in case management, child protection, education, the early childhood sector, juvenile justice or an allied health profession - there is something on offer for you. 

The conference title is The Good, The Bad & The Ugly - Fostering the Practice of Care, and the key theme will focus on trauma recovery and adaptation.

There is an exciting Keynote lineup including:
 
- Magistrate Peter Dotchin, from the Children's Court in Victoria
 - Ms Robyn Miller, Principal Practitioner in the Children, Youth & Families Division DHS 
 - Ms Helen Barnacle, Psychologist
 - Ms Kathy Walker, Educational Consultant

Dates:  27 & 28 October 2010
Location: The Treacy Centre, 126 The Avenue, Parkville, Melbourne, Victoria.

Cost for Carers:  1 day = $110+GST. 2 days = $195+GST.
Cost for Workers: 1 day = $150+GST. 2 days= $275+GST.
Costs include morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.  Bookings in a group of 10 or more receive a 10% discount.
