Foster Care Week 2017

From September 10, 2017 12:00 am until September 16, 2017 1:09 pm

Foster Care Week raises awareness about foster care in the wider community, however, in 2017 as with previous years, the events held during foster care week aim to celebrate and appreciate our pool of amazing foster carers and the invaluable contribution they are making to the lives of vulnerable children and young people and the community as a whole.

The 2017 Theme is: Shine A Light in line with the National Foster and Kinship Care Conference being held to book end Foster Care Week, in Victoria this year.

The Foster Care Association will be hosting a calendar of events taking place around the state, which will celebrate Foster Carers. Victorian foster care Agencies events and celebrations to be held over Foster Care Week September 10th – 16th 2017.
