Victorian Carer Census

2020FosterKinshipand2 38c51a23940bf77fKinship, foster and permanent carers can take part in the Victorian Home based Carer Census until 28 February 2021.

The carer census is the Victorian Government’s first statewide survey to understand the unique needs, experience and views of kinship carers, foster carers and permanent carers.

The information will help to improve policy, services and supports for carers—so carers get better support in their critical caring roles.

Statutory kinship carers, Aboriginal carers and carers from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities are particularly encouraged to take part.

The carer census is completely confidential and anonymous. It has been endorsed by Kinship Carers Victoria and the Foster Care Association of Victoria and is a project of the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing.
