Donate through your Workplace

One of the most effective ways employees can support the Foster Care Association of Victoria is through Workplace Giving.

Here at the Foster Care Association of Victoria we are committed. Committed to strengthening foster care.  Committed to better outcomes for foster carers and the children in their care. Committed to helping foster carers resolve issues on a daily basis.

This commitment comes at a cost. There are many regular expenses including phone charges for carer support calls, transport costs to attend carer meetings, and training for support staff who need to stay up-to-date with system changes.

Employee Benefits

If you choose to donate to the Foster Care Association of Victoria through your pay, it:

  1. Gives you an immediate tax benefit
  2. Reduces your taxable income without the need for receipts
  3. Provides you with an opportunity to feel good about helping the Foster Care Association of Victoria to support Victoria foster carers and the children in their care
  4. Allows you to donate as much or as little as you like.

I strongly believe that all children deserve the opportunity for a warm safe, stable, nurturing and loving environment so that they can grow to become their own person (just like plants!)  The Foster Care Association of Victoria help provide that by supporting foster carers, who in turn, provide that special place to help some of our most vulnerable children - to heal and flourish. So for me there is a feel good factor, knowing that my small contribution helps in some way towards the service.
