POSITION SUMMARY

This role is suited to a hands-on fundraising professional, instrumental in developing and nurturing relationships with major donors, corporate partners, trusts and foundations to increase revenue for the FCAV.

You will be instrumental in building a sustainable fundraising income and achieving strategic objectives to diversify revenue streams. Your role involves enhancing FCAV’s reputation as a ‘partner of choice’.

The Partnership Manager reports to the Chief Executive Officer and will be based at the FCAV Office, located at Greenwood Street, Abbottsford.

This contract position is 3 days (22.8 hrs) per week, for 2 years, commencing as soon as possible.
Office hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday, days of work can be negotiated with the CEO.

The current hourly pay rate is $47.50. Annual Package is $62,511 (inclusive of compulsory 11% Superannuation), based on Level 5 – Pay Point 1 of the Social and Community Services Award.

The successful applicant’s knowledge and experience will include:

·       Experience in a similar role

·       Developing strategies for partnership growth and integration

·       Identifying and negotiating deals with new partners

·       Overseeing partnership performance and ensuring alignment with business goals

·       Experience in fundraising, social media, corporate partnerships, philanthropy or sponsorships

·       Exceptional verbal and written skills and excellent communication skills

·       Experience in developing a partnerships strategy specific to an organisation is desirable

·       Experience working in the not-for-profit sector and/or government experience is desirable

Become a Board Director (Volunteer Position)

Anyone is invited to express their interest to join the FCAV’s Board of Directors, that consists of up to 9 elected positions and up to 5 co-opted positions, appointed to provide specialist expertise.

The FCAV Board of Directors have a passion and commitment to improving the outcomes for foster carers and the children and young people in their care, making a difference at an organisational and state level.

The overall role of the Board of Directors is to ensure the organisation operates in accordance with any legal requirements, the organisation’s stated objectives and its rules or constitution. It is also responsible for setting, monitoring and reviewing key strategic policies and directions.

We encourage Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people or those from diverse backgrounds or from regional Victoria to apply. We are seeking a wide range of skilled applicants to grow our Board, including those interested in filling the Board Secretary role or with legal expertise.

The Board meets monthly, and for regional Directors, travel and overnight accommodation costs are reimbursed, where necessary.
