Foster Care Week raises awareness about foster care in the wider community, and the events held during foster care week aim to celebrate and appreciate our pool of amazing foster carers and the invaluable contribution they are making to the lives of vulnerable children and young people and the community as a whole.

As Victorian foster carers nurture children and young people’s physical, mental and educational well-being through compounding crises, it has never been a more important year to recognise the value of their role.
