Carer Celebration & Annual General Meeting

The Foster Care Association of Victoria is so pleased to invite foster care members to the upcoming Carer Celebration & Annual General Meeting in Foster Care Week 2025.

Event details:

Friday 19 September 2025
11:30am – 1:30pm

Lunch at:
The Sofitel, 25 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000

In 2025, the celebration embraces the Foster Care Week theme "Time to Care". Foster carers make Time to Care - knowing every moment matters in a child or young person's life. With fewer carers and increasing demands, now is the time to recognise, support, and strengthen foster care. Now, more than ever, it’s Time to Care.

Please join us to celebrate foster carers and their enormous contribution at a sit-down lunch in Melbourne. The Carer Celebration is held in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting of the Foster Care Association of Victoria.

At the meeting, FCAV full members will be asked to:

  • Accept the 2024 AGM minutes

  • Accept the 2024-25 Annual Report

  • Accept the Auditor’s report & 2024-25 Financial Statements

  • Election Announcement

  Registrations are essential.

Nominations to join the FCAV Board of Directors have now closed.
