Meet the 2026 FCAV Commitment to Carers Award finalists!

The Commitment to Carers Awards were established by FCAV to ensure carers have a voice in recognising the people whose professionalism, compassion, and dedication have helped them navigate the challenges and rewards of foster care. Each year, the awards shine a light on those moments of support that leave a lasting impact.

We’re delighted to announce the finalists for the 2026 FCAV Commitment to Carers Award, recognising agency staff who go above and beyond to support foster carers throughout their caring journey.

  • Brooke Coxon Meli

  • Ari-elle Dart – Meli

  • Rebecca Grant – Berry St / Yooralla

  • Rachael LaGreca – Anglicare Victoria

  • Kiara Noter – Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH)

These individuals have been recognised for their compassion, dedication, and commitment to ensuring foster carers feel valued, heard and supported. Their work plays an important role in strengthening foster families and, ultimately, supporting better outcomes for children and young people in care.

Congratulations to all our finalists!

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who was nominated. Every nomination highlights the positive impact that dedicated professionals and staff are making across Victoria’s foster care community.

Winner(s) will be announced at the FCAV AGM on 18th of September.
