The Commitment to Carers Awards were established by FCAV to ensure carers have a voice in recognising the people whose professionalism, compassion, and dedication have helped them navigate the challenges and rewards of foster care. Each year, the awards shine a light on those moments of support that leave a lasting impact.

Ari-elle Dart – Meli
Ari-elle received 3 separate nominations with carers recognising the way she supports them through incredibly challenging circumstances, follows things through and makes herself someone they feel comfortable turning to.
As one carer put it “You can’t put a price on that.”
Rebecca Grant – Berry Street / Yooralla
Rebecca was recognised for her dedication, empathy and genuine commitment to both children and carers. She walks alongside carers through complex placements and works to make the many demands of caring more manageable.
One carer described her as someone who has shown “so much dedication and given 100%.”
