The FCAV Commitment to Carers Awards are back - Nominations now open!

These awards provide foster carers with the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the individuals who have made a meaningful difference throughout their caring journey. We invite carers across Victoria to nominate the people who have gone above and beyond in supporting children, young people, and foster families.

Have you received exceptional support from a case manager, agency staff member, ACCO worker, or departmental employee? If someone has made a positive impact on your fostering experience, now is the time to acknowledge their dedication and commitment.

The out-of-home care system can be complex, and strong, supportive relationships are essential. Exceptional support can make a significant difference to the success of a placement, helping carers feel valued and empowered while improving outcomes for children and young people.

The Commitment to Carers Awards were established by FCAV to ensure carers have a voice in recognising the people whose professionalism, compassion, and dedication have helped them navigate the challenges and rewards of foster care. Each year, the awards shine a light on those moments of support that leave a lasting impact.

Nominate someone today and help us celebrate the people who make a difference in the lives of carers, children, and young people every day. Nominations close 14th of August

All nominating foster carers will go into a draw and be randomly selected to win one of three $50 vouchers just for making a nomination.

Winners will be announced at the FCAV AGM on 18th of September.
