Access Ability Australia has kindly shared a social story ‘Keeping Safe During COVID-19’ for carers of children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to share together with their children.

Social Stories are short descriptions of a particular situation, event or activity, which include specific information about what to expect in that situation and why. Designed for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), they explain social situations and help them learn socially appropriate behaviour and responses.

This Social Story ‘Keeping Safe During COVID-19’, is designed to help people with ASD understand COVID-19 safeguard measures throughout community and how to help them to stay safe.
